We have spoken with Apporto sales and technical people, who have been very helpful, but getting a straight answer out of Adobe about using Creative Cloud via this sort of environment has been like pulling teeth. On a lion. Who is already angry. And hungry.

Does the Mac solution make an actual remote connection with a Mac machine in the lab? Meaning, the Mac in the lab will not be available for in-person use if it is accessed remotely via Apporto, correct?

Yep, exactly what Max just said.

We have been using Adobe CC products through Apporto. The only restriction is that there is no accessibility to cloud services.

@Anibal - Technical restrictions, I agree. But as Max mentioned, any day of the week, or any given Adobe webinar, if you ask this question you will get different answers. Right now, they are telling us even with 1-1 connections to lab machines exclusively for this, we are NOT licensed or allowed to provide Creative Cloud this way.

We’ve been paying/providing named user licenses for all students in our virtual lab. It’s been very lucrative for Adobe. :(

@Dean - Yep, that is what they are suggesting to us, for all 15,000 or so students... *sigh*

To be honest, I was very shocked at how Adobe behaved during this time.

What SSO is Nazareth using? We are on Okta.

We can integrate with Okta

RE: SSO, we can integrate with any SAML-based SSO, as well as with several LMS platforms (Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, Sakai, etc.)

Cool, @Max, thanks. We are on Sakai, but are moving to either D2L or Canvas.

Architecture 2 is what we deployed at Nazareth on our exiting virtual infrastructure
