A smartphone is switched out when it’s only 2-3 years old. A laptop, desktop to tablet is upgraded every 3-4 years. What makes people think switching and other IT hardware is any different?

Our institution has failed in many respects by making the complex and expensive seem cheap and simple. Our "success" causes our leadership to become more blind over time.
